We played at Stonehaven Town Hall on Saturday 22 March for the club's 21st Anniversary party. There were three bands and a Ceilidh, with the Fisher Family headlining the night.
We all really enjoyed the performance. Our 40 minute set included tracks from the forthcoming album, such as 68, Truth, Water is Wide and When I Miss You. The audience were very supportive; particularly Trudi, David, Martin, Dennis, Meg, Ron and Anne - who are all regular Stonehaven Folk Clubbers - Thank you to you all. The crowd even laughed at my terrible joke... I couldn't have asked for more!
Thanks also go to Karen Simecek, who took photos of the gig, as you can see... thanks to Trudi and David for putting us both up! We had a fabulous drive back down to Glasgow the next day via Braemar and Glen Shee - in the snow... very pretty...
Martin U Jones did a fabulous job with the sound on Saturday night and even managed to record and video the gig for us! If I can figure out how... we might get some of the video footage up on this site at some point.
Many thanks to everyone who came along to support us on Saturday. We look forward to traveling back up to see our friends in Stonehaven once the album is released...
